June – Pearl: Produced within the soft tissue of a living shelled mollusk, pearls are usually round and smooth. They are highly treasured as gemstones and objects of beauty and have become a metaphor for something rare, fine, admirable, and valuable.
July – Ruby: The ruby can come as a pink to blood-red colored gemstone due to the presence of chromium.
August – Peridot: The Peridot is a light olive green color.
September – Sapphire: Considered one of the four precious stones, the sapphire is usually a blue hue with exception to rarer colors such as pink.
October – Opal: Opal is commonly a white or green, but can range in many, many other colors. More precious opal gemstones can even have a variety of colors on one stone.
November – Topaz: Orange topaz is the symbol of friendship. Known as precious topaz, the orange hue of the mineral can vary between a bright to a more pale color.
December – Turquoise: An opaque blue-green color makes up the Turquoise mineral, which has been prized as a gem and ornamental stone for thousands of years.
